Job Description:
A dynamic and reputable Consultancy in London is looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their team.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in office fit-outs, refurbishments, rebuilds, and commercial and leisure projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional practice and a BSc in a construction-related field.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager Role
The Assistant Project Manager will be involved in various aspects of construction project management, including:
* Developing design briefs and specifications.
* Preparing detailed costings for projects.
* Handling planning permission and Building Regulations approvals.
* Coordinating the appointment of design teams and specialist consultants.
* Ensuring full coordination of all contractors involved in projects.
* Managing costs comprehensively throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintaining consistent liaison with clients.
* Overseeing health and safety management, including safety reviews and audits.
* Producing As Built and maintenance manuals.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager
* Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional practice (consultancy, design, or contractor).
* Holds a BSc in Construction Management or a related industry.
* Demonstrates strong organizational and coordination skills.
* Exhibits excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
* Is proactive and capable of working on diverse construction projects.
* Vision of achieving professional chartership (MRICS or MCIOB)
