Job Description:
Management Accountant Position Based in Windsor, Growing Healthcare Organisation. £40k-£45k + Full study support + 2 days WFH

The organisation’s head office, located in the heart of Windsor, houses a dedicated and expanding finance team of 25 professionals who collaborate closely with teams across each site.
The Role:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Controller and Senior Management Accountant. Your primary focus will be to ensure the books are accurate and up-to-date, enabling timely month-end closures and reporting. You will have team leader responsibilities, overseeing Assistant Accountants and working closely with other finance team members and financial administrators at the sites.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review management accounts for assigned sites and entities.
* Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
* Provide accurate and sound management reporting to support key decision-making.
* Produce month-end and year-end journals.
* Review issues and overspends at the site level.
* Assist the Senior Management Accountant with balance sheet reconciliations across entities.
* Manage accruals, prepayments, fixed assets register, and other control accounts.
* Assist in the audit process.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
* Manage and develop finance team members.
* Provide general accounts support and handle ad hoc requests.
Revenue and Receivables:
* Review the accuracy and completeness of invoices on CoolCare.
* Regularly reconcile invoices between CoolCare and Sage Intacct.
* Review cash book and receipts.
* Review weekly Flash Reporting prior to circulation.
Purchasing to Payables:
* Review invoice postings to ensure proper coding.
* Review payment allocations and cash book updates.
* Prepare bi-monthly and ad hoc payment runs.
* Conduct corporate card and petty cash reconciliations and journal postings.
Payroll:
* Support payroll administration, including collation, verification, and submission of payroll information.
* Investigate and resolve payroll queries and information requests.
* Process payroll and relevant journals.
About You:
To excel in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in management accounting, preferably within a healthcare or similar sector.
* Experience with accounting software, such as Sage Intacct.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to provide accurate and insightful financial reporting.
* Strong team leadership and management skills.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Relevant accounting qualifications or progress towards them (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
