We are looking for passionate English Teacher to join the team at a secondary school in March, Cambridgeshire on a permanent basis ideally from September.
This is a full-time role and as a key member of the department, you will inspire and challenge students across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
The school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher who can infuse the division with new knowledge and approaches and actually make a difference.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering engaging English lessons that captivate students’ imaginations, foster a love for English and cater to diverse learning styles through KS3, KS4 & KS5
* Fostering critical thinking and analytical skills through thought-provoking literature inspired discussions and activities
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and enhance teaching strategies
* Engaging with parents and guardians to ensure a supportive educational experience for every student
To be successful in your application, you will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in English
* Proven experience teaching English at secondary level, with a track record of student success
* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring young learners
