Job Description:
Finance Business Partner
South Norfolk
£45,000-£55,000 (DOE) plus hybrid working
Our client, based in South Norfolk, are seeking an experienced accountant with knowledge and expertise in standard costing and variance analysis. Previous experience of month end and year end processes are essential, and use of Sage 200 would be beneficial.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Oversee and enhance the management information provided throughout the business to ensure it effectively shapes necessary actions and behaviours from key stakeholders.
* Implement standard costing across the business to provide transparency on operational and commercial performance.
* Analyse the group’s performance against budget or other operating plans, interpret the results, and use this information to drive necessary actions within the business, maintaining and improving financial delivery.
* Collaborate closely with the business on all projects and ad hoc assignments.
* Perform monthly stock reconciliations.
* Calculate and post stock provisions.
* Conduct annual physical stock takes.
* Assist with the filing of R&D tax computations.
* Contribute to the annual, quarterly, or monthly budgeting and planning processes.
* Present financial reports to senior management for decision-making.
* Liaise with external auditors as needed.
