They are seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Paralegal/File Handler to join their team. This role presents a significant opportunity for career advancement, with the potential of securing a training contract upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities: * Caseload Management: Handle a variety of Housing Disrepair claims, primarily at the pre-litigation stage, with opportunities to assist senior fee earners on litigation matters.
* Documentation: Draft letters, prepare file notes, and create legal documents such as witness statements.
* Court Preparations: Prepare for and attend court hearings.
* Research: Conduct legal research to support case management and litigation.
* Client Interaction: Liaise with clients, other parties, surveyors, and the court to ensure effective communication and case progression.
* Quality Control: Proofread and check documents for accuracy and consistency.
* Performance Targets: Meet targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to deliver the highest quality service to clients.
Ideal Candidate: * Experience: At least 12-18 months of experience as a Housing Disrepair File Handler.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of the housing disrepair pre-action protocol.
* Skills: * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and KPIs.
* Excellent communication and client care skills.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
