Job Description: I am currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join my partner secondary school starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting a love for mathematics and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
Salary: The position is offered on the M1 - UPS3 pay scale, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
