Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location: Blackpool
Salary: Up to £30k DOE
We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Blackpool. They are a well-established brand who have been around for over 50 years - they’re also one of the market leaders in their field.
They are now looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their business and work alongside their existing finance team to assist with the production of monthly accounts, managing payroll and supporting with the overall finance function. It’s a great opportunity to get involved with the monthly management accounts within a business, as well as building on your payroll knowledge & skills.
The Role:
Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts for the business, including:
* processing journals,
* overhead analysis,
* balance sheet reconciliations.
Support with Payroll - including:
* the processing of new starters and leavers,
* preparing the monthly payroll files,
* liaising with employees to answer payroll queries and concerns.
Experience Required:
* AAT Level 4 is desirable for this role,
* Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with experience in a similar role.
