This team is award-winning, having received major recognition over the last few years, most recently being named as Legal Services Provider of the Year by the Health Service Journal.. Role. The team specialises in handling clinical negligence and EL/PL claims for NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and other defendant clinical negligence clients.. Responsibilities. The successful candidate will:. * Drafting reports to NHS Resolution. * Interviewing witnesses. * Drafting witness statements. * Instructing experts. * Instructing counsel. * Attend Court for Case Management Conferences and Application Hearings. * Negotiating settlements. * Holding conferences with Counsel. * Preparing for and attending trials and mediations. Ideal Candidate. * Qualified solicitor. * Defendant EL/PL experience preferred but not essential, claimant candidates will be considered. * Solid PI background. * Driven, committed and interest in meeting needs and expectations. * Ability to meet tight deadlines.
