Interim FP&A Analyst - Retail

A leading Retail business with a strong presence in the market are seeking an Interim FP&A Analyst to join their team for an initial 6-month interim contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the businesses financial planning and analysis activities, driving data-driven decision-making and supporting our strategic goals. This position will be working closely with the business partners and stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights and analysis, ensuring effective planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
* Analyse financial data, variances, and trends to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
* Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
* Work closely with business partners to understand their financial requirements and provide insights and recommendations.
* Assist in the development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor and track business performance.
The ideal candidate will have:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with 2 years PQE
* previous experience working in the Retail industry 
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
* Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Advanced Excel skills
