Ambitious Management Accountant required for a specialist engineering company in Sheffield with its origins rooted in the UK steel industry. They have seen significant growth over the last 5 years with further growth planned in future, with a large order book in hand and significant future opportunities.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant is responsible for:
* Producing accurate financial accounts.
* Forecasting and budgeting.
* Developing financial analysis and reporting.
* Monitoring and controlling key WIP/raw material stocks.
* Reporting on the financial performance of the different business units, working with factory management to improve costs etc.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
* Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in manufacturing is essential.
* The ability to work under pressure whilst managing changing priorities is required.
* A strong personality to be able to challenge operations is essential.
* Ability to review and improve processes is required.
