My client is a distinguished IP firm currently undergoing an exciting expansion. Its Dispute Resolution team is well-regarded for handling intricate patent and SPC disputes, often involving multi-jurisdictional litigation for prominent science and technology companies.. The practice encompasses a wide array of disciplines, including life sciences (biotechnology and pharmaceuticals), chemistry, engineering, and technology. Additionally, the team manages a select amount of "soft IP" work, primarily associated with trade mark and design disputes, frequently in conjunction with patent-related cases and regulatory matters.. Job Overview: My client is interested in speaking with enthusiastic and skilled candidates at the 2-6 PQE level eager to join their growing team. This role offers a distinctive chance to work with a prestigious firm and engage in intellectually stimulating and varied IP litigation.. Key Responsibilities:. * Assist in managing and supporting complex patent litigation and SPC disputes across multiple jurisdictions. * Handle trade mark and design disputes, often linked to patent-related matters. * Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft detailed litigation documents and reports. * Collaborate with clients and team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies. * Stay updated on developments in IP law and relevant sectors. Qualifications and Skills:. * Experience in intellectual property, with a focus on patent litigation. * Exposure to the life sciences and/or technology sectors. * Strong academic background, ideally with a STEM degree, demonstrating high intellectual capacity. * Intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology and its legal implications. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment. * Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients at all levels. * Proficiency in an additional European language is a bonus, but not essential.
