Job Description:
Senior IFA Administrator * Annual Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
* Location: York
* Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 from home)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a vibrant, professional independent financial advisory firm. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will provide crucial support to our financial planners and clients, working with Whole of Market products.
Day to day of the role: * Deliver a dedicated and professional support service to IFAs and clients.
* Process technical and complex cases, ensuring all parties are kept fully updated on case progression.
* Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication via phone and email.
* Manage routine client communications, book review meetings, and prepare meeting files.
* Maintain consistent and accurate client records.
* Review client portfolios on an annual or biannual basis and produce reports.
* Prepare investment illustrations and process applications through to completion.
* Conduct research and analysis using tools such as SAPP, FE, and Iress.
* Administer and maintain company records, including general office duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a wealth management firm, with knowledge of pensions and investments.
* Proficiency in producing valuation reports for clients.
* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
* Experience in writing detailed and complex suitability reports/letters.
* Proficient in using Intelligent Office back office system.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
* Great time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
* Customer and quality-focused with a good telephone manner.
* Experience with SAPP & FE.
Desirable: * Experience using Asana Back office System.
* Experience in handling more complex cases, e.g., IHT & Trusts.
