Job Requirements *Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion
*Manage own portfolio of clients, building strong rapport and dealing with year-end queries effectively
*Lead onsite audit teams to ensure budgets, deadlines and expectations are met
*Act as a trusted advisor to owner-managed businesses on a range of accounts and business issues
*Preparation of statutory accounts
*Preparation of corporate tax computations and returns
*Work alongside Managers and Partners, reporting directly to them
*Supervise junior staff by reviewing work and offering mentorship
*Converse clearly and effectively using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
*Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress
*Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
*Support the wider firm by undertaking ad hoc duties where required

The Successful Applicant *ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
*Qualified by experience also considered
*Proven track record of leading audit assignments within practice environment
*Strong experience managing a diverse client portfolio
*Good knowledge of audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
*Experience using Iris suite is desirable, but not essential
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
*Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
*A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
*Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
*Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
*Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
*Able to work confidently with senior team members
