Welcome to an exciting opportunity at Harrow for the position of Childcare Lawyer. If you are a passionate legal professional with a focus on children’s social care, we want to hear from you. This contract role offers a competitive salary range of GBP 45.00 per hour and will involve a hybrid working model where you’ll have a chance to work both remotely and commute to our offices in Barnet and Harrow.
* Work alongside Team Leaders and Service Managers to support the development of HB Public Law.
* Provide expert legal advice and manage legal files on behalf of various clients, including local authorities.
* Opportunity for a 3-month contract with potential for further growth and development.
Preferred Requirements:
* Extensive experience in childcare law and relevant legal proceedings.
* Strong advocacy skills and ability to handle complex legal cases effectively.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a collaborative approach.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services within the public sector.
* Demonstrated understanding of safeguarding and welfare issues affecting children.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a focus on childcare law.
* Membership of relevant legal professional bodies or associations.
* Degree in Law or related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
