We are looking for experienced Mental Health Nurses to work for one of the busiest clients in the North West of England.
Description:
As a Bank Band 5 Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disabilities), you will have at least six months of previous experience working in an inpatient mental health setting as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will have experience in carrying out a diverse range of duties, including the assessment, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nursing care that is evidence-based, person-centred, and recovery-focused.
Essential:
* Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability
* Completion of Band 5 preceptorship programme (evidence may be required from RNs who have been registered for less than 2 years or with gaps)
* On-going registration with the NMC
Knowledge:
* Can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles, and person-centred care
* Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach
* Can demonstrate a working knowledge of physical health conditions and the complications that this can cause to patients experiencing mental ill health
Experience:
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
* Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs
