Year 6 Primary Teacher
Location: LS17 Area
We are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the LS17 area, who are looking for an experienced year 6 teacher to join their team. We are committed to providing high-quality education and nurturing an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting students’ academic progress, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, tailored to the needs of Year 6 students.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, utilizing strategies to address challenging behaviours while maintaining a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
* Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities and initiatives.
* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on students’ progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* Proven ability to confidently manage challenging behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for fostering a love of learning in students.
