Job Description:
Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist (Fractures)
* Location: South-Central England
* Contract Dates: Asap till 30/10/2024

Services Offered: They provide a variety of physiotherapy services such as musculoskeletal physiotherapy (including fracture management), neurological rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy, and more.
Specialized Treatment: Physiotherapists are trained to provide specialized treatments tailored to individual patient needs, which may include exercise programs, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and education about managing conditions.
Team and Facilities: The department is staffed by qualified physiotherapists who work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Patient Referral and Access: Patients typically access physiotherapy services through referrals from other healthcare providers within the hospital or from external providers.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support for the virtual fracture clinic.
* Assess injuries, recommend recovery plans, and prescribe appropriate exercises.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care pathways.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and progress.
* Stay updated with current practices and innovations in physiotherapy.
Requirements:
* Degree in Physiotherapy and valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Proven experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preferably in orthopedics.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes.
