Teacher of French
Location: Malton, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Part-Time, Fixed Term
GSL Education is working with a client Secondary School near to Malton, North Yorkshire, to appoint a qualified Teacher of French from September 2024. This is a part-time position which offers a great opportunity for career development and is suitable for both Fully Qualified and Early Career Teachers.
Teacher of FrenchKey Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3 an 4.
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for French.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to departmental initiatives.
Teacher of FrenchMinimum Requirements:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Have a degree in Modern Foreign Language or French at 2:2 or higher.
* Proven track record of teaching French at GCSE level.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
* An Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one through GSL Education. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
