Randstad Education is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Leeds, starting this September.
Position: Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Leeds, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to primary school students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
* Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions and support.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and academic progress of all students.
* Encourage the development of social skills and independent learning.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably in a UK-based primary school setting.
* Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students with SEN.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications or training in special education are desirable.
