Position: Painter
Location: Liverpool
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interior and/or Exterior Painter to work closely with us and our client. As a painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to both the interior and exterior surfaces of residential and commercial buildings. Your attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work will contribute to creating beautiful and long-lasting finishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching to ensure a smooth and even painting surface
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve desired results
- Protect surrounding areas and furniture from paint splatters and spills
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed during the painting process
- Repair and touch up damaged areas to maintain the integrity of the paintwork
- Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and provide recommendations on colour schemes and finishes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interior and/or exterior painter
- Extensive knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work with different types of surfaces, including wood, metal, and concrete
- Excellent colour perception and matching skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
