Registered Manager * Annual Salary: £50,000
* Location: Stockport

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our brand new children’s home. This is a pivotal role for a dedicated professional with a strong background in residential care management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and a track record of effective leadership.
Day-to-day of the role: * Oversee the operational management of the children’s home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with relevant legislation.
* Lead and inspire a team to provide exceptional care and support to children and young people.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safeguarding of children.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the home operates within financial targets.
* Maintain strong relationships with external agencies, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Conduct regular staff reviews, appraisals, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
* Monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, implementing continuous improvement strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role within children’s residential care.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Relevant Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or Children and Young People’s Workforce.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of the regulatory framework governing children’s homes.
* Proven ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.
* Commitment to the personal and educational development of children and young people.
