Job Opportunity: Design and Construction Lead
Location: Norfolk
Salary: starting from £70,417
Hours: 37.5 per week
About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Design and Construction Lead to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge, sustainable commercial building. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring the new building meets the highest standards of design and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and construction process, ensuring alignment with national standards
* Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resources
* Oversee the installation and integration of mechanical & electrical systems
* Conduct environmental impact assessments and implement mitigation strategies
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other specialists
* Be a full member of the programme management team and participate in key programme decision making
* Advise on any finance issues effecting the development and design, highlighting areas under change control processes that impact on delivery
Qualifications:
* You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
* Professional certification (e.g., MCIOB).
* Extensive experience in managing large, complex projects
* Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
