CLASS 1 DRIVER
MONDAY - FRIDAY - With Various Start Times - AM/Afternoon’s/PM
£16.25 - £20.35 PER HOUR 
People Solutions are working with a national logistics provider supporting them with their recruitment of Class 1 Drivers due to a change of location. We are looking for drivers to attend an assesment on 5th August and if successful, a start date of 12th August. 
This means that all roles have a great possibility of being permanent from day one.

Rates of pay:
* £16.25 per hour basic
* £20.35 per hour overtime after 48 hours
Day to Day Duties
* Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to make 3 - 5 trunk runs a day
* Curtain sider work
* Make on time deliveries
* Communicate with the transport team
* Follow Company policies and procedures
* Comply with driving rules and regulations
* Strapping loads correctly (awkward loads)
Essential Skills
* Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
* Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
* Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
* Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
* Work in a professional manner
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience
Experience in strapping abnormal loads would be beneficial as well as navigating tight delivery depots.
Training
You will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a Three-day company programme.
