Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
Start Date: September 2024
Working Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Position Type: Initially temporary with the possibility of a contract
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1-1 support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Assist with the implementation of the primary National Curriculum and Early Years framework
* Utilize SEND interventions and practices
* Support child development and learning
* Adhere to safeguarding processes and procedures
* Apply personal teaching and learning pedagogy
Essential Requirements:
* Experience in SEN
* Knowledge of the primary National Curriculum and Early Years framework
* Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
* Familiarity with SEND interventions
* Knowledge of child development and learning
* Awareness of safeguarding processes and procedures
* First Aid Training
