Job Title: Electrical Engineer / Electrician
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
Salary: OTE £45,000 - £50,000
Our client, a rapidly expanding technology solutions company who specialise in Security Systems, IT Infrastructure, Telecoms & Connectivity are looking for an electrician to join their team in Carlisle.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for the planning, testing and implementation of electrical wiring infrastructures, including; lighting, power and other electrical systems including CCTV, access control, voice & data network cabling and security for their customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of data network, Wi-Fi infrastructure, CCTV and door access systems
* Design, implementation and testing of electrical wiring systems in line with legal requirements
* Maintenance of electrical circuits, fault finding and diagnosis
Qualifications:
* Fully qualified (NVQ Level 3) Electrician with 18th Edition Amendment 2, and City & Guilds 2391/2395 qualification
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within electrical field of installation
* Have a mix of experience within domestic, commercial and industrial environments
* Able to pass an enhanced DBS Check
* Knowledge/hands on experience in installing and servicing security systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Carlisle area.
