Sales Coordinator
Location: Shefford
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Onsite, Permanent
Are you a confident and outgoing individual with excellent administrative skills? Do you have a knack for managing both inbound and outbound sales calls with finesse? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
About the Role:
Our Shefford-based client is seeking a dynamic Sales Coordinator to join their team. This role involves a 50/50 split between inbound sales and account management, offering a perfect balance of customer interaction and relationship building. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication between clients and the company, managing existing accounts while also reaching out to potential new clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Engage with B2B customers to address product inquiries, provide quotations, and secure orders.
* Convert inbound leads through phone, email, online chat, and WhatsApp.
* Handle outbound leads with a focus on quality over quantity, making approximately 5 high-quality calls or communications per day to both existing and potential new customers.
* Actively follow up on all quotations and leads.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their future purchasing needs and enhance customer rapport.
* Keep the customer database updated with the latest information.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in sales or account management.
* Strong administrative abilities with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident and outgoing personality with superior communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with Sage or similar software is preferred but not essential.
