Management Accountant (Maternity Cover) | £35,000 - £40,000 + Bonus | Accrington | Broad exposure | Hybrid + Flexible

Axon Moore are pleased to be working on behalf of a rapidly-growing business as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave.  

A generous starting salary is on offer up to £40,000 plus bonus, and the business also boasts a great working culture with hybrid and flexible working also on offer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts with appropriate commentary where required
* To ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled
* Accruals and prepayment schedules
* To assist in completion accounting following acquisitions
* Complete VAT returns to HMRC
* To assist in the year end audit and provide supporting schedules
* To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
* Assisting the Group Financial Controller with any other ad hoc tasks required
Required Skills and Experience:
* Good management accounts experience
* Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified or QBE
* Good IT and MS Excel skills
* Great attention to detail
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
* Experience of working as part of a team
* Able to quickly adapt to change
* Work efficiently towards meeting deadlines
