As a Children’s Residential Support Worker Team Leader you will be passionate for supporting and empowering young people to achieve their goals, and leading a team to provide an outstanding support service.
Based in North Norfolk, this is a full time, permanent position working 38 hours per week. This opportunity offers a salary for £25,400 - £25,800 depending on experience and qualifications.

The day to day
* Leading the team of Support Worker’s, providing support and guidance, ensuring the service is effective and compliant, while seeking opportunities to improve.
* Monitoring team performance and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
* Providing a comprehensive support service, empowering and encouraging service users to reach their full potential.
* Working closely with service users, their families and third parties to implement effective care plans that focus on the goals of each individual.
* Maintaining strong working relationships with service users, families, and third party professionals and services to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive support service.
* Ensuring compliance with company and legal regulations, as well as the safety of all service users in line with legislation, and accurate records are kept.
You will have/be
* At least 2 year’s working with children with learning disabilities and communication difficulties, within a residential environment and leadership role.
* Strong communication & listening skills, being able to promote the voice of the child and motivate the team.
* Knowledge of regulations, legislations and procedures relevant to the role.
