TRANSPORT COORDINATOR
WORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7: 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 / 22.00 - 06.00 ROTATING SHIFTS
£28,500 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are representing a client based at East Midlands Gateway in Derby who are looking for two Transport Coordinators to join their team.
This is a permanent role, offering a salary of £28,500.
You will be working 45 hours per week on rotating shifts.  There is also a possibility on a fixed shift.

Day to Day Duties
* As part of your role you will brief and debrief Drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to
* Be accountable for Legal O Licence compliance and for operational excellence, ie cost and service including planning and delivery
* Provide the highest level of customer care and finding resolutions / escalation of live issues
* The monitoring of all routes ensuring all routes are running on time and escalating to the Team Manager on shift where appropriate
* Effective time management to ensure the job is completed within the set time frame provided using Trutac and Microlise software to identify exceptions & schedules
* Conduct Daily administration tasks in relation to payroll systems, payroll queries holidays etc.
Essential Skills
* Google Drive /Excel / Microsoft Word Experience
* Experience of Transport management systems preferred
* Polite and professional
* Able to work as an effective team player, supporting and recognising the need for support wherever appropriate and be able to work on own initiative
* Build and maintain positive external relationships internally within the team, member depots and other Logistics staff
Desirable Experience
* Ideally, you will have experience of administration in a busy transport environment
* PC literate
* Have great attention to detail
Training
Training provided but previous relevant experience is essential.
