A popular school with a waiting list of 300 students a year in Rickmansworth is interested in securing a Maths Teacher starting September 2024. This is a rare opportunity to work in one of the most successful and popular schools in the Watford area to teach maths.
The school is easily accessible for candidates living in the Watford, Hertfordshire area as the school is 5 minutes away from the M25 and a 15/20 minute bus journey from Croxley Green station.
The Maths department:
With a dynamic and imaginative 7 strong staff team leading this exciting subject, it is no wonder the staff and students both enjoy their time at the school. Staff turn around is low, student attendance is high and the school boast exceptional GCSE and A level results. This is a teacher training school, Ofsted comment on ’students taking responsibility for their own learning.’

KS3-KS5 is taught using JCQ courses.

THE RIGHT MATHS TEACHER WILL HAVE:
* Hold a BA and PGCE in MATHS
* Confident with teaching GCSE MATHS
* Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
