Job Description:

A fast growing logistics business located in the Corby area are looking to recruit a People Advisor, where you’ll provide essential HR support and drive engagement activities at your site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review and update policies, communicate changes, and provide legislative updates.
* Assist with documents, disciplinary procedures, offboarding, and payroll.
* Train managers on investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
* Offer insights and KPI reports.
* Keep HR systems updated and fully utilised.
* Identify and implement policy improvements and best practices.
* Coordinate and deliver site inductions.
* Lead HR projects and initiatives.
* Support the delivery of site-specific people plans.
* Assist with recruitment and retention efforts.
* Promote high performance, manage poor performance, and foster meaningful conversations.
* Advocate for colleagues, promote inclusivity, and act as a role model.
* Lead engagement and wellbeing activities.
* Enhance management and colleague capabilities.
* Support and guide People Assistants to achieve their objectives.
About you :
* Acts professionally and respects confidentiality.
* Provides prompt solutions to people-related challenges.
* Continuously seeks new ways of working.
* Strives for high performance.
* Data interpretation, confident communication, relationship building.
* Business partnering experience preferred.
* Employment law knowledge.
* Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
* CIPD Level 3 minimum.
