We can offer an 18-month Apprenticeship plus 8 weeks to complete your final studies with the opportunity to continue into a full-time permanent position on successful completion.

About the Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship –
·To guide and inspire teams to make positive differences to the older people living in our care homes who are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, physical, or psychological challenges.
· To become a leader of care teams within the home and develop a values-based culture throughout the service from ancillary to management teams.
· Ensure the care home
· Develop skills and experience in business development, financial and budgetary management, managing risk and leading organisational change.
· Adhere to CQC regulations and continually strive for ’outstanding’ outcomes and ensure that the home is Safe, Caring, Responsive to people’s needs, Effective and Well-lead in line with CQC’s expectations as our regulatory body.
To apply you will have:
A level 3 qualification in health and social care or above i.e. BTEC or NVQ including Level 2 English and Maths prior to completing the Apprenticeship.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications. To be eligible for a government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
About you:
·        Experience in a care or nursing home setting at Unit Manager, Deputy Manager or Team Leader level.

·        Ability to learn and develop your knowledge, skills and education in order to consistently improve quality of care.
