Description
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Responsible for administering the service charge cycle for the Group’s customers..
* Work within the team to monitor and calculate actual service charge costs, ensuring information to customers is accurate and clear
* Calculate service charge estimates and ensure customers understand why costs have increased/decreased for the coming year
* Ensuring that the charges are correct and relevant, in line with the various legal contracts
* Liaise with other departments to obtain accurate information regarding new schemes or services and ensuring their legality
* Sinking fund management
* Be aware of all relevant legislation such as the Leasehold Reform Act, Data Protection, Health and Safety
Profile
Successful candidate will need:
* Experience of service charge setting in a complex business environment
* Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry
* Ability to achieve deadlines in a pressurised environment
* Able to adjust to new business environments, be a fast learner and work with a broad range of staff in a wide-ranging business and culture.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to enable operating within an organisation of different businesses.
* Self-motivated and value-driven individual, committed to delivering excellent services for the customer
* Competent with MS Office
