Job Description:
Commercial Finance Manager | Luxury Drinks Brand | £65,000-£70,000 | South London (3 days office working)
We are partnering with an award-winning, luxury drinks business that is looking to hire a Commercial Finance Manager on a permanent basis, based in their London Head Office (hybrid working). This is an opportunity to work for a market-leading business in their industry, which has achieved 25% growth in the past 3 years and is forecasted to be £150 million turnover in the next 12 months.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is an integral role in the finance department, where you will be responsible for managing the commercial finance function across the business. The role will work as the key business partner to the Heads of Department, providing insightful reporting and analysis, and will also manage 2 direct reports.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the preparation of the monthly management accounts
* Providing commentary and analysis on the monthly accounts to be reported to senior management
* Management and development of 1-2 direct reports
* Responsibility for the annual budgeting and forecasting process
* Preparation of key reports including stock reporting and cost reporting along with associated analysis for key stakeholders
* Business Partnering with Heads of Departments, challenging them and supporting with commercial decision making
* Driving process improvement across the group including looking at ways to automate processes through tools such as Power BI
What they are looking for
The successful candidate will be ACA/CA/ACCA qualified accountant with experience working in the consumer industry, specifically with stock experience. You will know what good looks like when it comes to the management accounts preparation and will have experience working in a commercially focused role where you have worked as a key business partner to stakeholders and supported with budgeting and forecasting. Knowledge of Power BI is preferred but not essential. You will be proactive nature, driven and have the desire to implement change during a key period of growth for this extremely successful consumer business.
