Job Description:
Jacob Grey have partnered with a successful and continuously growing SME based in HemelHempstead to appoint a new Human Resources Manager.
Job Specification
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the Board of Directors, your duties will include:
* Developing and implementing a robust, cost-effective recruitment strategy to deliver the future growth of the organisation.
* Utilising digital channels and local relationships to build recruitment pipeline.
* Working closely with the Marketing Department to develop and deliver the brand, internal communications, and external events.
* Championing diversity, ensuring that the organisation remains an inclusive and diverse company.
* Ensuring all HR policies are up to date and compliant with regulation, law and best practice.
* Overseeing administration within the HR team, ensuring all HR paperwork and contracts are processed smoothly.
* Managing a small team of 2-3 individuals (including their training and development)
* Ensuring that key HR statistics are monitored and reported monthly to the Senior Management Team and developing key action plans to improve on HR targets as required.
* Working with the Senior Management Team to develop the internal culture and retain talent
* Manage any issues arising from employee related concerns or grievances in line with the company values and procedures.
* Continue to maintain and develop the existing on-boarding process, the induction programme, and ongoing performance management protocols.
* Implement a cost-effective well-being strategy across the organisation.
* Review the overall compensation packages for employees (including potential benefits) and present proposals to the SMT with cost/ benefit analysis.
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified (or approaching qualification) and will possess a demonstrable track record in a similar HR role. Exposure to high volume recruitment campaigns and driving cultural change will be advantageous. This position would suit someone who has previously lead small teams or is looking for the opportunity to do so.
