The Senior Fire Engineer Role The successful Senior Fire Engineer will work directly alongside the Head of Fire Engineering. This role requires self-management of projects of various sizes and sectors, managing a team, and mentoring graduates and fire engineers. The business maintains key relationships with companies in the commercial, hi-rise, and residential sectors, ensuring compliance with all fire regulations and requirements, as well as staying abreast of future changes.
Responsibilities:
* Fire Strategy Design
* Review, Inspect, Implement & Test
* Understand detection, suppression, on-site experience, strategy design, and testing
Key Requirements:
* Ideally with a design consultancy or risk background
* Chartered engineer in fire or working towards this status
* Degree in Fire Engineering, structural engineering, or a related discipline
* Experience in leading client-facing meetings
* Clear experience in the residential and commercial sectors
* Experience with business development
