Management Accountant | Urmston (Hybrid) | £45,000 - £50,000 | High Growth Retail / E-commerce

Axon Moore have partnered with a fast growing e-commerce retailer based just outside of Urmston, who are looking to strengthen their finance team with a nearly, or newly qualified Management Accountant.

Reporting into a big 4 ACA FD, you will be responsible for:
* Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentaries
* Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
* Business partnering with heads of department focused on cost reviews and forecasting, including variance analysis to identify areas to be targeted for cost reductions
* Period end balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
* Work closely with the Finance Director on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queries
* Review accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance function
* Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
* Involvement in projects to improve systems and processes to reduce time taken for reporting and development of reporting

Person Specification: 
* Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with proven Management Accounts experience, however part qualified or finalists will be considered 
* Ability to thrive within a fast paced environment
* Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach 
* The ability to create effective working relationships quickly
* Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae
