Job Description:
Service Now - Lead Platform Developer
Hybrid - occasional travel to Corsham or London
Duration: Until 31/03/25 (possible extensions)

The Platform Developer will:
• Lead the build of the ServiceNow Self-Hosted platform which includes the application load balancer, database and related services such as the IdAM proxy. Plan and lead the development of CPA services
• Have an understanding of the CPA platform as a whole and take responsibility for teaching this to others
• Work with ACOE and CPA stakeholders to understand what needs to be built
• Coach and mentor more junior colleagues
• Support the transition to operational service
• Lead the resolution of operational issues
• Find ways to improve system robustness, resilience and stability
• Provide support on platform services to the delivery partner(s)
• Provide technical support to systems integration activities (including engagement with technical stakeholders).
Skills and knowledge
• Linux OS configuration, shell scripting, Linux application installs.
• Understanding of AWS Cloud Services
• Designing and developing ServiceNow custom applications
• ServiceNow architecture
• Systems and Network Integrations
• Leading development teams.
