CLASS 2 DRIVER 
MONDAY - FRIDAY: 01.00 - 04.00 STARTS 
£15.25 PER HOUR 
People Solutions are recruiting Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a well-known and respected nationwide brand.
This role is temporary but with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
You must be aged 25 or older for this role due to Insurance purposes.

Day to Day Duties
* Operate and drive various Class 2 Vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to deliver to multiple stores across the country.
* All vehicles have tail-lifts, but you will be required to lift heavy boxes and move cages, so any applicants must be willing and able to do this.
* The Vehicles have sleeper cabs as nights out could be required on a sporadic basis.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
* Ensure vehicles are well presented at all times
Essential Skills
* Hold a valid UK Category C licence for at least 2 years
* Hold a UK DIGI Card & CPC Card
* No more than six penalty points
* No major endorsement codes
* Must be aged 25 or over due to insurance purposes
* Excellent timekeeping
* Good communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
Desirable Experience
Previous Class 2 store delivery experience would be beneficial as this role involves working on timed delivery slots.
Training
An initial paid assessment and induction will be provided on-site before you start driving.
