Finance Manager
Based: Rochdale area
Salary: up to £50k + study (if required) + benefits
My client, established over 150 years ago is a global leader in their industry supplying 4000 customers across the UK and globally. Sitting as part of a wider group, the business is well-known for their passion in the industry, reliable products and their entrepreneurial mindset continuing to grow organically and through acquisition. We are now looking for a Finance Manager to look after the larger group entity (circa £25m turnover), reporting to the group FD you will be in charge of all areas of financial management for the business, leading a team of 4
Role:
* Delivering month end management accounts pack to Directors, presenting numbers
* Overseeing cashflow, cashflow forecasting and P&L budgeting
* Working with Group FD on annual budgets, updating forward forecasts and issuing 13 week forecast
* Management of intercompany transactions & reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
* VAT reporting per entity and consolidated
* Stock reconciliation and analysis/reporting
* Leading on annual audit for site - internal & external
* Business partnering with stakeholders in Operations, Sales, Warehouse, Marketing for review and authorisation of overhead purchase orders
* Monthly review of aged debt, managing foreign currency ad-hoc USD & EUR
* Dealing with import/export documentation, duty costs and paperwork
* Managing CAPEX sped process, reviewing requirements and gaining approval
Experience:
* ACCA/CIMA part-qualified OR QBE
* Strong experience in finance, team management experience desirable but not essential
* Experience in a Finance Manager role or Management Accountant looking to step up
* EU VAT and currency experience desirable but not essential
* Strong cash experience essential - forecasting, cash transactions
