Business Analyst – Finance Systems
12 month fixed term contract
Milton Keynes, MK16 9EZ
Salary – £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a Finance Systems Business Analyst to join us and help on our cross functional finance systems transformation journey. Covering FMS upgrade and cloud migration together with integrations for banking reconciliation and other related systems.
What will your role look like?
This role will be an important interface between the business, finance teams, project manager and technical resources. Explaining difficult concepts to non-technical stakeholders and involved in key areas of testing and change management.
You will be responsible for:
* Conducting requirement gathering and analysis for the Finance Systems Transformation project; documenting and communicating all results
* Evaluating finance processes, anticipating requirements and uncovering areas for improvement
* Working with, and managing suppliers and technical resources
* Supporting in delivery of advisory services, strategic planning and business case development with the wider business
* Supporting the project manager with the overall delivery of the project including; planning, testing, cut over and go live with the upkeep to RAID logs throughout
* Adopting the role of Test Manager in the latter project stages, performing and managing User Acceptance testing and Unit acceptance testing
About you
Ideally we are looking for someone who has:
* A solid understanding of business finance processes and associated technologies
* Experience of Finance / IT projects, ideally with a focus on applications e.g. EROP, Finance and Inventory
* Knowledge of Finance business functions (AP, AR, GL etc)
* A minimum of 3 years experience in finance process analysis or a related field, ideally in a similar industry (Retail, Hospitality, QSR, FMCG)
* Excellent competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel and outlook
* Experience in Project Management apps is advantageous e.g. MS Project, Jira, DevOps
