Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Salford Council’s Duty and Assessment Team. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £35 - £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:
* Engage with children and their parents.
* Will be reliable and provide stability and ambition for children and their families during the time they are working with us.
* Ensure Assessments are completed in a timely way for children and families who should be getting the rights services at the right time.
* Completion of Child & Family Assessments, coordinating of Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meeting/S 47
* Enquiries to progress to Initial Child Protection Conference.
* Strong reflection and analytical skills and ability to assess and manage risk required.
* Court experience - around initiation of proceedings/ EPO applications etc desirable.
* Knowledge of Signs of Safety and Safe & Together desirable.
Requirements:
* Social Work England registered
* Social Work Degree or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS
