Job Description:
We need a Project Controls Manager to join us at AWE Nuclear Security Technologies.
You will be responsible for tasking and developing embedded teams which may include multi-disciplined personnel, i.e., project controls, planning, cost and analytical services, supporting key business delivery streams.
We are open to applicants looking for job share, part time and term time working and we do need you to come from a Project Accounting background.
Location: Flexible working, at our offices based near Reading at RG7 4PR.
Due to the nature of the work you will be doing, You will need to be onsite up to 4 days per week
Salary Range starts at: £48,030 up to £61,000 this is very much open to upwards negotiation if you have the skills and experience that we need.

A typical day for a Project Controls Manager could look like this:
* Applying procedures, processes and systems to ensure the quality and consistency of data supported by your team
* Line and task managing and deployment of Business Management team members
* Building great relationships to influence key stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with Earned Value Management governance
* Providing analysis and insight of project performance data to the Head of Programme
* Leading change control and baseline management for the Programme
* Co-ordinating, validating and providing key commentary supporting production of monthly reports
We would like you to demonstrate or have experience of:
* The ability to inspire and motivate your team
* Able to engage, negotiate and influence people across the business
* Application of procedures, processes and systems to ensure high quality and consistent data is delivered by your team
* Building great relationships with key stakeholders
* Production and maintenance of plans, schedules, budgets and forecasts
* Reviewing actuals and analysis of Earned Value variance
* Cost control management
