As a SEN Teaching Assistant with Randstad, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experiences of KS1 and KS2 SEN students in DN14. Responsibilities: * Provide tailored support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual learning needs.
* Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for personalised learning experiences.
* Support classroom management and help maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
* Establish effective communication channels with parents, teachers, and specialists to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
* Prepare and adapt teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Essential Requirements: * Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Caring and empathetic personality.
* Commitment to safeguarding children.
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
