Job Description:
Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist Grade: Band 6
Location: South East England
Contract Type: Part-time, 2 days per week (preferably Mondays and Tuesdays)
Start Date: From after 6th August
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide therapy services in a Hand Therapy setting at Epsom Hospital.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of hand pathologies and their management.
* Experience with acute elective, acute trauma patients, plastics and rheumatology cases.
* Ability to create bespoke splints for patients as required.
* Manage wounds and perform stitch removal when necessary.
* Develop personalized recovery and rehabilitation plans for a variety of hand/wrist-related pathologies.
* Independently manage own caseload and collaborate closely with the healthcare team.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a Hand Therapy setting is essential.
* Comprehensive understanding of hand pathologies and their treatment.
* Competence in acute elective, trauma, plastics, and rheumatology cases.
* Ability to provide personalized splints and wound management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
