FOUNDRY OPERATIVE
WORKING DAYS OR NIGHTS BETWEEN MONDAY - SUNDAY: 06.00 - 18.00 OR 18.00 - 06.00
£12.00 PER HOUR 
People Solutions are currently looking for Foundry Operatives on behalf of our client in West Bromwich.
You must have a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that has been trading for over 30 years and is one of the leading UK experts in precious metal recovery.
This will be a temp to perm opportunity for suitable candidates.
Foundry Operatives will be required to work on a shift pattern doing 12 hour shifts which would be a mix between days and nights, and the starting hourly rate will be £12.00.
The environment is dirty and you must be prepared to wear PPE at all times whilst working both inside and outside.

Day to Day Duties
Duties of Foundry Operatives will include (but won’t be limited to) the following:
* Work on machines and blasts to melt precious metals
* Prepare the blast machines ready for production
* Operating various machinery to follow the process and produce silver ingots ready to be shipped
* Driving/operating a Counterbalance FLT
* Loading and unloading with a Counterbalance FLT as the products are heavy
* Any other reasonable task as per Manager/Supervisor request
Essential Skills
Applicants for this position must have the following:
* Previous experience working in a similar Foundry environment
* Valid Counterbalance licence (external)
* Comfortable wearing full PPE including a powered air-fed helmet
Training
Full training on company policies and procedures will be provided by the client.
