Job Title: Children’s Residential Care Worker - Level 3 QualifiedJob Description Job Duties:
* Provide direct care and support to children in residential care settings
* Implement care plans and support the physical, emotional, and social needs of each child
* Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care
* Work collaboratively with other staff members and agencies to meet the needs of children
* Participate in activities and outings with children to promote their well-being
Required Qualifications:
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
* Valid DBS clearance
* Experience working with children in a residential care setting
Education:
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children in the following care settings
* * Harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) homes
* Gang and radicalisation and intervention Program (GRIP) Homes
* Child Exploitation (CSE) Homes
* Complex Needs Homes

Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Training in behaviour management techniques
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, as per the needs of the residential care facility
* Salary range: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour
* Temporary position
