Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting children in care?
In this role, you will manage the team, oversee complex cases, and ensure the effective delivery of services to children in care.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing the Children in Our Care team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
* Conducting thorough assessments of children in care to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
* Developing and implementing care plans to support the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.
* Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and improve care.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
* Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within children and family services, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
