Trainee Service Advisor
* Basic Salary Up to £26,000 OTE £29,000 (Uncapped!)
* Franchised Main Dealer
* Mon – Fri 07:30 – 17:30, Saturdays 1 in 3 08:00 – 13:00
* Manufacturer Training
We are currently advertising on behalf of an Automotive well-known Franchised Dealer Group who are currently recruiting for a Trainee Service Advisor to assist in their busy Service Department in the Maidstone area.
Our Motor Trade Client is seeking a Trainee Service Advisor who is high performing and can provide only the best level of customer service.
Their minimum requirements for a Trainee Service Advisor are as follows:
* Strong administrative skills, preferably with experience in a similar role
* Advantageous although not essential to have a basic knowledge of motor vehicles and their main components.
* A courteous telephone manner
* Presents themselves well professionally.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide accurate information.
* Ability to use initiative.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Right to Live & Work in the UK
As a Trainee Service Advisor with our Client you will be expected to:
* Attending to customers when dropping off and collecting their vehicles for service/repair.
* Taking accurate notes of the customer’s requests and communicating them to the workshop team.
* Keeping customers updated during the day with the progress of their vehicle.
* Costing and gaining permission for any additional work found.
* Preparing and presenting the customer invoice and associated paperwork.
* Giving a full explanation to the customer of the work undertaken.
* Presenting service products such as service plans, extended warranties etc.
For your hard work, our client is offering a salary of up to £26,000 with OTE of circa £29,000.
