Job Description:
Venn Group are working with a Private Healthcare Group who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.
Location: North London - 3 days on site
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Job Summary The Management Accountant plays a crucial role in our Finance team as we embark on a growth journey. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will build key relationships across finance and non-finance teams at all levels. The Management Accountant will provide insightful management information and analysis to support performance delivery and informed commercial decision-making.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts, information, and KPIs at a regional level, with support from the transactional finance team
* Collaborate with regional operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
* Provide meaningful information and analysis to non-finance teams, including HR, Property, IT, and Commercial departments
* Present insights and analysis at monthly performance reviews, including variance analysis, trends, and commentary
* Educate and support managers on controllable P&L drivers and KPIs to ensure performance delivery
* Maintain a financial presence in the field to audit, train, and work with senior operations teams
* Ensure strong governance and control over client monies and cash management
* Challenge financial data and develop strategies to achieve regional/home-level EBITDA targets
* Take ownership of regional/entity-level financial accounts, including Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Utilize finance and operational systems to optimize output delivery and identify trends
* Assist the Group Financial Controller with financial projects, including the implementation of new systems and best practices
* Collaborate with the Commercial Finance Manager to ensure consistency in budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes
* Support the Year-End group audit process
* Work with the transactional finance team to improve financial accounting practices and provide senior finance leadership
* Develop and evolve financial controls processes and best practices with the wider team
Qualifications and Skills
* Several years of experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Analyst role
* Strong multi-site experience
* Ambitious, proactive, and driven
* Problem-solving skills with a passion for resolution
* Ability to challenge financial data to drive decision-making and performance
* Strong team player with leadership abilities
* Advanced Excel skills
* Strong analytical and communication skills, especially with non-finance teams
* Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail
